Historic Restoration
Historical buildings are the cornerstones for many cities and towns in the upstate. These older buildings possess the character and charm not found in many newer buildings. Restoration of these buildings is considered a specialized trade that requires knowledge and experience in interior and exterior finishes. These building systems are usually long obsolete and as a result many contractors simply have never seen them. The staff at SCI have successfully completed many historical restoration projects, several of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
